League Configuration
The Immersive Dynasty League (IDL) will be hosted on MyFantasyLeague.com.
The IDL will consist of twelve (12) franchises separated into three (3) divisions of (4) franchises each.
This is a Dynasty league, so all players will be kept until the owner involves that player in a transaction (trade or drop).
The league features offensive players only and includes PPR and PPC scoring, with standings determined by Victory Points.
Annual Fees
The annual fees will be due to LeagueSafe no later than April 1. After April 1st, there will be a $10 penalty. Any fees not paid by April 15, will result in expulsion from the league.
League fees will be $50 USD per season. With twelve (12) franchises (minus the MFL Fee), payout will be $530.05.
Payout
Divison Winners (best record at the end of regular season) $30 each
Playoff Runner-Up – $75
Playoff Champion – $185.05 (plus any late fees)
This section needs updated with new payout structure.
League Scoring
All league scoring will be decimal scoring rounded to 2 decimal places. Highlights of league scoring are 1 point-per-reception and 0.2 point-per-carry. The full scoring breakdown is available on the league site on MFL.
Position Eligibility
All position eligibility will be determined by the league provider. All changes by the league provider will be final.
Regular Season
Each team will play their divisional opponents 2 times per season, and every team outside of their division once. This makes for a 14 game schedule, so there is a double-header in Week 1.
Playoffs
The 3 division winners, along with the 3 teams with the most VP that did not win their division, after the 14 game regular season will participate in a single elimination tournament to determine the league champion. The division winners earn the top 3 seeds with the top 2 earning a 1st round bye. In Week 14, the 3 seed will play the 6th seed and the 4th seed will play the 5th seed. The following week the 1st seed plays the lowest seed remaining (reseeding for 2nd round).
Victory Points
The IDL standings and playoff positions will be determined by Victory Points. A head to head match-up win earns a team 2 VP. Each week of the season, the 12 teams will be arranged from highest scoring to lowest scoring and segmented in groups of 4 with the top group earning an additional 2 VP for the week (whether they won or lost their match up), and the middle group earning 1 VP.

Rookie Draft
The rookie draft will be 4 rounds in length and will begin on the first Friday after the NFL Draft, beginning at 12pm (noon) Eastern. Draft order will be worst to first (based on end of playoff standings, not regular season standings) in order for every round. There will be a 12 hour timer on all picks.
Roster Management
Each team is allowed an active roster of up to 30 players.
Injured Reserve
This league utilizes two IR spots. These two spots allow you to place an NFL player who is on IR according to the league software onto your teams IR, opening a roster space for you to use until the player is removed from IR. Upon completion of the playoffs, players on IR must either be cut, or have room made for them on your active roster. The deadline for this is Feb 15.
Starting Lineup
The starting line up consists of 8 players each week:
1 QB
1 RB
2 WR
1 TE
3 RB/WR/TE (aka Flex)
Players are locked into the starting line up at their listed game time.
Waivers
IDL waivers will be decided using the blind bidding system, with each franchise beginning the season with 150 BB$. Waivers will process at 8 pm on Wednesday evenings.
Off-Season: No players will be available to be selected from kick off of their game on Week 16 until after the IDL Rookie Draft. Waivers will begin running following the IDL Rookie Draft with at least a 5 day first waiver period. They will be on the normal Wednesday schedule upon return. There is no first come-first served FA until Week 1.
In-Season: After Waivers process on Wednesday, all available players are then First Come, First Served Free Agents. All players that are not on a roster will be moved from Free Agents to on waivers once their game has started for the week.
Player Trades
Once two teams have reached an agreement on a deal, the trade is processed immediately. Trades may only be made within the means provided by our league provider (MyFantasyLeague). Any trades made as an attempt to circumvent this limitation will be reversed. Any trades that show a possibility of collusion may also be reversed by the league government – and may be grounds for expulsion.
There will be a trade deadline on the listed kick off time of the first game of week 12. No trades will occur after this date until the completion of the NFL regular season.
Draft Pick Trades
Rookie draft picks for 2 seasons into the future are available to be traded at all times. The next season’s draft picks become available for trade upon rollover of the MFL website to the new league season.
Franchise Management
Franchise Names
All team names must be “*City* *Mascot*”. Cities chosen should be of recognizable size. The city should also either be one from the current state/province you reside in, or from the state/province you were born in if preferred/applicable. Mascots have much more flexibility, though they can’t be anything offensive. Team names may only be changed when either A.) A team changes owners. Or B.) A team has had its name for 4 seasons, and has decided a change is needed. All team names must meet commissioner approval.
Replacement Franchises
If an owner chooses to leave the league or is removed, priority will be given to prospective owners that current owners know. If a suitable owner cannot be found, an advertisement will be placed on message boards. The new owner may choose a new name for his team, but the team will remain in the division where it currently resides. The league government may remove an owner from the league if it is seen as suitable punishment. Violations may include collusion, tanking, under-activity, missing payment, or anything that threatens the league’s integrity. If multiple teams require replacement at the same time, a dispersal draft will take place using only the rosters of the available teams. The teams will be placed most appropriately by geography in that instance as well.
League Management
Government
The league will run as follows. The commissioner(s) will be in charge of handling trades, settling league disputes and taking care of day to day operations and website functionality. If a trade involves the commissioner, one of the assistant commissioners will be in charge of settling any dispute of said trade. The commissioner will have the final ruling on all other league business.
Co-Commissioner: Mike (Hartford Beavers)
Co-Commissioner: Rick (London Lions)
Owner Integrity
Everyone is in this league to be a part of the ultimate competition. Keep that in mind when entering your starting lineups. If it appears that an owner is not putting an optimum starting lineup forward to gain an advantage in the rookie draft, the situation will be dealt with and punishment will be as harsh as removal from the league. Each owner is expected to not start a player on a bye week if they have a replacement on their roster. This will be monitored during the season by the league government.
Code of Conduct
This league’s purpose is to simulate the NFL experience while having a lot of fun. Everyone must treat each other with respect even in disagreements (which will be settled by the league government). Keep message board content reasonably clean and don’t engage in exscessive negative trash talk. Some trash talk is fine but use common sense and don’t cross any lines.
Rule Changes
League rules can be changed in the off season. If a rule needs to be changed to maintain league functionality during the season, it will be done at Commissioners discretion. Rule changes that are deemed big enough by the league government will be subject to a league vote for approval. A 3/4 majority (9 approval votes) is required for a vote to pass in order to change a rule. Any rule change involving a scoring change or the starting line up will be pushed one season out in order for owners to plan for the modification.
